Residential Re-Roofing Projects
Our process When re-roofing a project we strip down your existing roof to the bare plywood (roof sheathing), inspect and
fasten plywood per current Florida Building Code Hurricane Mitigation requirements, and then apply a 6 inch peel-n-stick on the plywood joints.
We then cover the roof with one layer of 30# roofing felt paper. We use rolled metal flashing to reinforce all valleys, we replace all lead plumbing stack boots, we replace all eave drip, and we replace all existing
ridge or off-ridge vents. We also will recommend more ventilation when it does not appear that the existing amount of ventilation is adequate. We provide hurricane mitigation supporting documentation
that can be submitted to your insurance company for a potential savings on your homeowner's insurance (from meeting the current hurricane mitigation requirements for a residential re-roofing project).

Residential New Roofing Projects
Our process
Our residential new roofing process is very similar to the residential re-roofing process. Our process for most new residential roofing projects starts from the point
of the roof sheathing (plywood) already being installed on the project. We then start with the application of a 6 inch peel-n-stick seam tape on all the plywood joints
and then cover the roof with one layer of 30# roofing felt paper. We use rolled metal flashing to reinforce all valleys, we add lead plumbing stack boots, we install eave drip and flashings, and we install
whatever kind of ventilation products have been specified (ridge vents or off-ridge vents). We provide supporting documentation that your roof was installed per the current code requirements. This documentation can be submitted to
your insurance carrier for a potential savings on your homeowner's insurance.
